About

I'm David Owens, the host of A Chooch In The Briar and the songwriter behind Briar Obligations. This channel started as a place to talk pipes, tobacco, and whatever comes up when good people sit a spell.

Somewhere along the way, Chooch and the boys wandered out of the tobacco jar and started a band. I write the songs; they take the credit. That seems fair.
